A mother protects her son from the king of the immortals, but cannot protect him from himself. Mothers and goddesses must finally stand up to the fragile, furious, and entitled gods. Weaving Yoruba spirituality, Greek mythology and basketball, the epic Half-God of Rainfall transports us from a Nigerian village to an NBA arena to the peak of Mount Olympus.
