Ten Thousand Things Musical Auditions

Ten Thousand Things is seeking three AEA Actors for our Spring 2027 Musical production.

We would be delighted for actors of all abilities, disabilities, ethnicities, cultures, and gender identities to audition with particular encouragement to global majority and gender-expansive artists. TTT employs diverse, inclusive, and gender imaginative casting for all roles as culturally appropriate to the telling of the story. The genders of the characters and the genders of the artist do not need to match, though for story-telling the gender of the characters may need to be explicitly legible to the audience.

Free parking in the small lot as well as free street parking. Audition is in the basement community room. Enter via the main doors and go down the stairs to the left. Restrooms are upstairs. There is an elevator available.

AUDITION PREPARATION

Please prepare a song (either a capella or self-accompanied) and a short comic monologue.

*No accompanist is on site. A capella singing reflects the minimal instrumentation used under performance conditions. If you wish to self-accompany on piano, there is a piano available in the space.

A well respected and liked employee considered dapper and occasionally charming.
His depth is sometimes too well-hidden.

Actor 3: actor who can play 25-30
An established employee resembling a hopeless romantic. Shy, intelligent, and soft spoken
