We at Ten Thousand Things Theater love our Minnesota community and the people who call this place home. In our diverse Twin Cities, we believe the majority of its citizens are law abiding, loving, peaceful and respectful. But the racism and brutality we witnessed with the killing of George Floyd has no place in these lands, in this community or in the world.
We at TTT thrive because of the diversity of our artists and audiences, and we seek to promote unity and loving bonds through sharing stories together. George Floyd’s family and friends said he loved Minnesota and embraced the opportunities he found here, just like so many of us have done.
During these difficult days, we tremble in shock and sadness, stand in empathy and support for all our sisters and brothers, hope for true justice against racist acts, and pray for healing. We stand in support and solidarity with the Black Community.
