Catherine Hennessy Wolter
Catherine is a Development Officer at Ten Thousand Things, a role that has her wearing many hats.
She brings to TTT a music background threaded through with nonprofit experience. Catherine’s current research interests in music history center around new technologies of the early twentieth century, including the player piano and radio. She currently serves on the board of the Minnesota-based nonprofit Disability Support International.
Catherine was delighted to learn about, and then join, the TTT team in 2021. What resonates with her especially are the many thoughtful and evolving ways the organization lives out its twin commitment to inclusion and to creating fantastic art.
Before joining the TTT team Catherine worked as a lecturer in music history at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Catherine earned her Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
