To escape death, our heroine, her best friend, and one of Shakespeare’s funniest fools flee to the forest. Released from the court’s conventions, they discover earnest shepherds and ironic aristocrats – along with joy and forgiveness. Soon, closed hearts open, love transforms, and community takes root.

Open Book is three blocks from the Guthrie.
- There is a parking lot on the east side of the building (enter from Washington Ave and use the front entrance). There is also a small back lot with two accessible spaces, but is otherwise for staff only.
- Metered parking is also available on Washington Avenue and surrounding streets.
- We perform in the auditorium on level 2. Elevators are just behind the stairs.
- This venue is ADA accessible with handicap parking available.

Hennepin Avenue Church is located across from Walker Art Center and Loring Park.
- Free parking is available in the large lot adjacent to the church.
- Enter through the front wooden door (East Entry), walk past the welcome desk. We will be performing on the second level in the art gallery. You can either take the stairs or the elevators.
- ADA accessible with handicap parking available.

1. A few parking spaces, including accessible spaces, located in front of the building on Myrtle Ave
2. Paid parking lot located across the street on the northeast corner of Raymond & Myrtle
3. Street parking on Myrtle Ave, Raymond Ave, and other adjacent streets
NOTE: There is a second lot directly across from our main entrance that is private, and cannot be used by visitors of Playwrights’ Center. - Public entrance is on Myrtle Ave. Please enter the lobby through the large glass atrium.

825 University Ave W, St Paul
825 Arts is located in the Frogtown and Rondo neighborhoods between Victoria and Avon Streets.
- The entrance is right on University Ave (the north side going west) at 825 University Ave (click here for photo). There is an art garden to the left (click here for photo) and Demera Ethiopian Restaurant to the right (click here for photo).
- Lot parking is available at Ryan Plumbing (click here for photo) on the corner of Avon and University – a one minute walk. There are 16 spaces available.
- Residential street parking is available one half block away to the left on Victoria and to the right on Avon, and on Sherburne one block behind 825 Arts.
- Parking is also available after 6pm on University Avenue, which is right in front (click here for map).
- ADA accessible with accessible drop off is available next door at Demera Ethiopian Restaurant.
- The light rail green line Victoria Station is directly in front of the theater.
- If you are biking, you may bring your bikes into the theater and put it in our side alley which is locked to the street.

Reservations are required for community-hosted performances. Please do not attend these shows without a reservation. This could overwhelm our community partners and hinder TTT’s mission. There is a maximum of two seats and one community show.
